MASASOLO

MASASOLO

Danish psych-pop band Masasolo has been making waves worldwide in recent years due to their dreamy and experimental sound but it all began when the band was booked for the famous Roskilde Festival before even coming up with a name.

The lead singer and guitarist, Morten Søgaard, had casually uploaded their first song “Really thought she loved me” to the internet and after Roskilde called, the ball started rolling.

Esteemed blogs such as Hillydilly and Indie Shuffle were among those quick to spot the band and even KCRW, the famous California radio station, had their single on a permanent spin.

Six months following their performance at Roskilde, they released their debut EP “Breakup” and less than a year after that they released their debut album “At Sixes and Sevens”. Both were very well received and the album even made it on the “Best Danish Album of 2017” list by Danish music media company Soundvenue.

After having toured most of Europe for the past year, they have currently isolated themselves in a cabin in the countryside to complete their forthcoming album due in the Spring of 2019.
